About Us
The Goodyear Police Officers Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community relations and representing the interests of the men and women of the Goodyear Police Department. We work to create a liaison between citizens, businesses and the Goodyear police officers on matters of supporting each other. Moreover, we serve as a resource to ensure the health and safety of our officers and their families through strong representation that improves their quality of life.
The GYPOA is also committed to improving and sustaining its local community outreach by regularly hosting events throughout the year, donating to several worthy causes, and providing volunteer support where needed most. We rely heavily on the support and generosity of the community.
Funds that are raised through donations go towards the Goodyear Police Officers Association Charity Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, which puts your contributions to work in the following areas:
